Chapter 9

~ When You Wish Upon A Star ~ With a few members of the party preoccupied with other tasks, Alisha, Finn, Ina and I, with Guido in tow, decided to take on some quest board items. This time around, we are to aid Stillman in pest control - seems a bit too simple.

It turns out the rats were spawning in hordes from a summoning circle, quite literally a torrential flow of them - out of the basement of which was also overrun by kobolds. With most of the party taking some damage from this fight, we eventually route the kobolds of pelting stone and force the intel out; Chris' bar was behind all of this.

To provide some context, Stillman took out a 400GP bet with Chris' bar that he would open a successful establishment of his own, within 30 days. Stillman's bar was doing a lot better than Chris', in much less time - and the latter decided some dirty sabotage was needed.

And so, sabotage we gave Chris and his band of goblins. With Guido practicing his new spells and forcing some goblin archers to sleep; and my timely new magic missiles turning Chris into bone dust, we finally finished "cleaning up rats".
