Celestia
Born a noble son into a high elf family
of puritan heritage, Celestia was
given a prescribed life of Acolyte
training. To devote his life to the
Pure Fire Sect, to the study of the
scripts, to rise in the ranks of
worship in Selune.
However Celestia always yearned
for something different, a life away from the hatred-morphed worship. Looking into
the starry sky every night as his
studies came to a sleepy conclusion,
he wished for his, no, her life to be
free from the shackles of her own
flesh, from familial and societal
expectations for an Acolyte. But
through all her studies of the Gods,
she could never find a way to be
born anew...
Until one night, when the voice of the
stars reached out to her - seeing
the painful glimmering tears in
Celestia’s eyes - promising the
freedoms of the Endless Night Sky.
Nelebrie, the Deity of Freedom and Liberation.
A new body, or rather, a body of her
own agency. But to accept and embrace Nelebrie is to turn
her back on the Pure Fire Sect. To
turn her back on heritage, on family.
And for a Pure Fire Acolyte of Selune, betrayal spells
death.
Perhaps, yet, it’s worth a shot.
A life of her own, or the end of it. In
either case, freedom of some
variety.
